Epson ColorWorks for cleaning product manufacturers
Different formula. Different bottle. Your labels.
Print colour labels on demand for cleaning products, detergents
and refill ranges.
New fragrance, different pack size or a customer’s own-brand range?
Bring your label printing in-house with Epson ColorWorks and
produce the labels you need for each run.
Discuss your label requirements
Start by email with your label size, quantities and a sample of your artwork.
Keep up with changing products and packaging
Multiple formulas, fragrances and container sizes can quickly create
a long list of label variations. Printing in-house gives you more
control over short runs and artwork changes, helping you avoid
holding excess pre-printed labels for every version.
Product and fragrance variants
Use colour, branding and product information to distinguish
different cleaners, detergents and fragrances across your range.
Own-label orders
Produce customer-specific labels for contract manufacturing,
private-label ranges and smaller branded orders.
Short production runs
Print quantities to suit trial products, new launches and
smaller batches without committing to large stocks of labels.
Where could colour labels work for your business?
Laundry products
Labels for laundry liquids, fabric conditioners and specialist
fabric-care products in different fragrances and pack sizes.

adapted to each product and packaging format.

facilities management and janitorial customers.
Samples and development batches

and new packaging trials.
Cases and outer packaging
Colour-coded product identification, barcodes and batch
information for cartons and other outer packaging.

label material, adhesive, surface and exposure conditions.

before choosing your label stock.
Send us a label. Tell us about your next run.
Email a photo or artwork sample, your label dimensions and
approximate quantities. Tell us what the label will be applied
to and whether it needs to cope with wet handling or contact
with the product.
We can use those details to discuss a suitable printer and

Frequently asked questions
Can I print different product designs on the same printer?
Yes. You can change the artwork between runs for different
products, fragrances and customer brands. The printer and
label stock must support your required label dimensions.
Will the labels withstand cleaning-product spills?
This needs testing with your specific formulation and packaging.
Resistance varies with the ink, label material, adhesive,
exposure time and handling conditions. Share a sample of your
application so we can discuss suitable materials to trial.
Can I use my existing label artwork?
Send us your artwork and label dimensions so we can check
suitability for the proposed print setup. Any required changes
will depend on the file, label size and printing workflow.
Can the labels include barcodes and product safety information?
Your label design can include barcodes, text and symbols.
You remain responsible for supplying and approving the correct
content for each product and market. A printer does not
determine which safety information your product requires.
Can printed labels be used with an applicator?
Potentially, depending on the printer, finishing setup and
applicator. Label dimensions, roll size, core size, winding
direction and presentation need checking before selecting
the equipment and media.
Does ColorWorks print directly onto bottles?
No. This application uses adhesive labels that are printed
separately and then applied to your bottles, containers,
pouches or outer packaging.
